The Bangla New Year was celebrated with colorful arrangements and a festive atmosphere under the initiative of the Haimchar Upazila Parishad.On the occasion of the New Year, a vibrant rally was brought out from the Upazila Parishad premises. The rally paraded through the main roads of the upazila, including Algi Bazar, and concluded again at the Upazila Parishad grounds.Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Amit Roy attended the event as the chief guest. Officials and staff from various departments of the upazila administration, as well as leaders from different levels of the Upazila BNP, were also present.Students from Jagoroni Adarsha Shishu Niketan and Adarsha Shishu Niketan participated in the rally in colorful attire, adding extra charm to the event.Participants in the celebration expressed their commitment to uphold the traditions and values of Bangla culture in this festive event.
