Trishal, Mymensingh - The 8th edition of the Hult Prize, a globally acclaimed social entrepreneurship competition, is set to be hosted at Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University (JKKNIU). The event, often referred to as the “Nobel Prize for Students,” brings together university and college students worldwide to develop innovative solutions to pressing global issues, including food security, water, energy, and education. The winning teams receive up to USD 1 million in seed funding to implement their projects.Following official confirmation, Mehdadeen Najiat Alvi, a student of the Department of Management from the 2021–22 academic session, has been appointed as this year’s Campus Director of the Hult Prize at JKKNIU.Expressing his reaction to the appointment, Alvi said, “In my very first year at the university, I was the runner-up in the Hult Prize competition. Being appointed as the Campus Director of the same event is a matter of pride for me. I am determined to carry out my responsibilities with sincerity and to deliver a distinctive and high-quality competition.”
