Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus said that the army's support is essential to make the upcoming national elections peaceful, festive and joyful.He said this while attending the Course-2025 Graduation Certificate Distribution Ceremony organized at the Defence Service Command and Staff College (DSCSC) Auditorium in Mirpur Cantonment as the chief guest today (Wednesday) afternoon.The chief advisor said, I sincerely seek the army's support to make this long-awaited election of the countrymen a truly peaceful festival and joyful atmosphere.Recalling the role of the army in the July mass uprising, he said, "The army took the right decision at the right time and for this reason I highly appreciate their role."311 young military officers from 24 countries including Bangladesh, China, India, Turkey, and Pakistan participated in this course. The Chief Advisor expressed confidence that the officers who complete the course will be able to use the knowledge they have acquired in their personal and professional lives and play an important role in any critical moment for the country.The event was attended by government advisors, cabinet secretaries, and the chiefs of the three services, among others.
