Therefore, it is the responsibility of the state to provide security to every citizen of Bangladesh.Quoting the holy hadith on religious harmony, Tarique Rahman said, "I will stand against the person who tortures or violates the rights of a non-Muslim who is protected by the state, on the Day of Judgment."Stating that there were attempts to create a communal situation around the Sharidya festival during the fascist regime, Tarique Rahman said that the law enforcement agencies must be alert and vigilant so that such a situation does not arise again.On behalf of the BNP, once again extending greetings on the occasion of Sharidya Durga Puja, he said, "We believe that religion belongs to everyone, and the state belongs to everyone.
