Sajib and Rahim to lead Bangladesh Tarun Column Lekhok Forum The central leadership of Bangladesh Tarun Column Lekhok Forum for the 2025–26 session has been finalized. M. Sajib Prodhan, a student of Gopalganj University of Science and Technology, has been nominated as the new President, while Soyod Abdur Rahim, a student of the University of Dhaka, has been nominated as General Secretary.The announcement was made on Wednesday through a press release signed by the forum’s advisors, Faisal Ahmed and Mahdi Hasan Majumder. The newly elected President and General Secretary have been instructed to form a full central committee within ten working days.Sajib Prodhan earlier served as Organizational Secretary, Training Secretary, and President of the forum’s Gopalganj University of Science and Technology unit. He is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Law. Rahim, the new General Secretary, previously held the post of General Secretary of the forum’s Dhaka University unit and is now studying for a master’s degree in Islamic History and Culture.In his reaction, Sajib Prodhan termed his new responsibility both “a matter of joy and a challenge,” expressing hope that with collective support, the journey would be marked by success. Founded on July 23, 2018, the Bangladesh Tarun Column Lekhok Forum promotes young writers through mentorship, publishing support, and regular seminars and workshops. The organization is now active in 21 public universities along with private universities, National University–affiliated colleges, and other institutions across the country.
