An workshop titled “Academic Writing and Literature Review for Emerging Researchers” was held at the Department of Marketing, Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University (JKKNIU), organized by the Department of Marketing.The event took place on Tuesday (25 November) at the Marketing Department under the Faculty of Business Administration. The workshop was conducted by Associate Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Momen, Head of the Department of Marketing at JKKNIU.During the session, Dr. Momen said, “Improving the quality of research requires more than just collecting data; it demands critical thinking, proper structure, and strong academic writing skills. If emerging researchers can master academic writing, they will be able to work confidently in any research field in the future.”He further emphasized, “A university is not just a place for receiving degrees; it must cultivate a culture of research. Understanding quality literature review is the first step in that practice.”Among those present at the workshop were Associate Professor Mohammad Abdullah Al Jamil of the Department of Marketing, Comilla University; and Lecturers Sumona Akhter Sumi, Mahmuda Akhter, and Kumar Bishwazit Saha of Nazrul University. More than a hundred students from various departments of the university participated in the workshop.
